the Met Ball's best dressed: Shalom Harlow

i spent the whole night last night looking at pictures of the "Model as Muse" event at The Met. didn't go to bed till, like, 12pm or something. the Met Ball this year has gotten so B-list, all those legendary designers of contemporary fashion were a no show (Karl, Tom Ford, Dolce & Gabbana...) and those real A-list stars weren't there either (Keira, Scarlett, Natalie Portman, Charlize Theron, Julia Roberts...).

anyway, my favourites are, Ashley Olsen, Kate Moss, Daria Werbowy and her sick sick sick body in Balmain. however, the only one that made me choke on my beer was Shalom Harlow.

The Met Ball is about going all out and making a statement, and my God, a statement she definitely made. as Bryanboy says it best, she basically swallowed and outfierced everyone with her face. she WORE the clothes and not the other way around. i don't think it's possible for any other human being on earth to elegantly and gracefully pull off that frock like she did.
