Hanne inside/on the balcony of her apartment in Chinatown, New York.
i'll be out of town to take care of some traveling paperwork during the next couple of weeks, so probably no new posts for a while. i'm sorry i won't be able to update Paris Fashion Week, and trust me, it hurts me just as much. but i promise i'll have some great coverage for you guys when i'm back. meanwhile, please check the archive and the search bar for past posts. thank you for keep coming back to the blog, especially those wonderful followers. much love, HB xxx

Garance was right. Dree Hemingway, wow, just wow in her Zara shirt. i saw this same shirt on Emmanuelle Alt before, but didn't know it was from Zara. if i ever make it to NYC in near future, i know where my first stop is.

LFW
the best of London Fashion Week through the eyes of Tommy Ton...
Tommy Ton for style.com
Tommy replaced Scott Schuman as the new fashion month style photographer for style.com. it has been a privilege seeing NYFW and LFW off the runway through Tommy's eyes. i can't wait to see what he'll bring for MFW and PFW.
p.s.: missing the city a little too much.

legs
i was reading Garance Doré's blog on the no pants trend in New York the other day, and i thought yeah right, if only i had some good pair of legs, otherwise i'd stick to my jeans and t-shirts routine. today i came back to her blog and saw the same trend happening in London. yeah, we've all seen the trend everywhere on the NYFW runway (Derek Lam S/S 2010 and Marc Jacobs S/S 2010), and off runway, *cough. Lady Gaga. cough*. now i'm waiting to see if this is happening in Milan and Paris as well. so far, the only person i've seen truly rocking this style is Vogue's contributing editor, Lauren Santo Domingo.

Garance was right, from behind, it looks like you're only wearing a blazer... and legs.

inspiration
there has been a lot of arguments saying that Kate's style is overrated. i guess we are all entitled to our own opinion. i love her style simply because she keeps it simple and i can relate to it, i can see myself in most of the stuff that she wears. and i like the fact that, pieces that she likes, she re-wears. i know some people may favour a more dramatic take, but i like being able to look at an individual who inspires my everyday looks. i don't like the idea of buying clothes just to wear it once, or because it is in. i think Kate's style has been simple enough in the last few seasons and still be up to date for the seasons ahead.

guess i was right. Freja is way skinner than before. i remember those Acne jeans used to fit her so well. and apologies. i obviously favour Freja over other models lately, so bare with me. ♥
